ABOUT THE SONG
For Sure is about my fascination with songwriting. Many fellow lawyers write beautiful articles or books, but I compose music and write lyrics. Sometimes one song after another rolls out like that, but other times it doesn’t work out at all. I find it special how sometimes words or melodies steer you in a different direction than you initially had in mind, suddenly creating something new.
For Sure started with a guitar lick and a few fat power chords. You can clearly hear some more rock influences and again great drumming from Peter Weissink. On Hammond you can hear Wil Maas, also a real pleasure. The recordings will be on Spotify from December 13, 2024.
